World Sea Turtle Day is June 16th, the birthday of STC’s Founder, Dr. Archie Carr. This year for World Sea Turtle Day, our friends at gimMe Snacks have pledged to MATCH your donations, up to $5,000, starting on June 1st! Every bit of the funding raised during the 2020 World Sea Turtle Day Campaign will support our most urgent conservation programs, such as green turtle monitoring in Tortuguero; leatherback and hawksbill monitoring and protection in Panama; and our latest research project studying juvenile green turtles in the Gulf of Mexico.
