Work carried out under the Bermuda Turtle Project falls into three main project activities: 1) Gathering data about Bermuda’s Sea Turtles; 2) Training Scientists; and 3) Public Education. The research efforts of the Bermuda Turtle Project are focused on filling in the information gaps on green turtle biology so that successful protection may be given to these fascinating, vanishing animals.
Please help support Sea Turtle Conservancy’s costs associated with the research on Bermuda’s Sea Turtles and training scientists in the methods to conduct in-water sea turtle research. Costs include STC staff time, stipends for outside researchers, biological sampling materials and supplies, travel and lodging for scientists, services and rentals, and research equipment (such as the capture net and flipper tags).
